Unwritten by Rotman Musical Artist, Chantastic
It’s the start of a new quarter here at Rotman, and one of my profs said that if a student is consistently and grossly late to class, he’s going to make them sing a song in front of everyone. What doesn’t help is that I have this class at 8:30 on Friday mornings. So yeah, I’ve been warming up my singing voice.
The question is, what song should I sing? The natural choice would be to choose my wedding song with future wife Whitney Port the greatest song of all time. But then someone at school said, “You’ll probably sing the theme song from The Hills.”
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
What an absolutely brilliant suggestion.
