Redefining the definition of ‘open book’

I have a Strategy exam that is completely open book - I’m allowed to bring any papers or books into the exam room. The exam is scheduled so that we have two hours to read the case (from 9 to 11 AM). We then get the exam questions at 11 AM and have three hours to write the exam. People can arrive anytime between 9 and 11 AM to give everyone a chance to read the case carefully, since some people read faster than others. Obviously, most people are going to show up at 9 AM, and that’s the plan for me. However, I don’t think I’m going to take the full two hours to read the case, and I’ll need something to occupy me until 11 AM. So what am I going to do as I wait for 11 AM to come?

Well, it’s open book, right?
