Twitter me this
I don’t understand the business model for Twitter. It’s free to join. There are no advertisements of any kind, and the site has literally produced no revenue. I’m no business major - oh wait, yes I am - but it strikes me as very odd that they’re still able to secure more funding from venture capitalists. They clearly have a long-term business plan (otherwise, they would have put ads up by now), but what is it? When are they going to monetize this site, and if so, how?
